Introduction A professional, well-appointed theater with comfortable, swing up cushioned burgundy seating for 424 patrons. Audience area is handicap accessible, handsomely carpeted with stage ramps and wide, numbered, well-lit aisles. Professional audio, lighting, rigging, staging, large dressing rooms, spacious Lobby with ticket booth and large restrooms. This facility is only eight years old… and looks like new!

MUC Theater Stage:

Dimensions: 39’x 90’ wooden black-painted stage with a 54’wide by 20’ tall opening.
Curtains…Main, front, opening curtains are burgundy in color. All other side, overhead and back curtains are black.
Other stage audio and lighting accesses and functions: Approximately 16 downstage XLR microphone jacks, 2 jacks for stage monitors, numerous electrical outlets and 12 recessed theater style light outlets. Stage manager theater light panel located conveniently to stage right. Telex communication jacks located on both sides of stage.
Risers, shells and chairs: Wenger 7.5’ x 3’ risers in three heights: 8”, 15” and 24” (4 of each size). Wenger professional acoustical shells (Rollaway 2) approximately 15’ high. Chairs: about 75 folding chairs. Concert style burgundy cushioned chairs…about 45. Also…music stands and conductors podium.
Rigging: 36 channel rigging with 12 channels currently in use. In the Fall of 2003, older manila rope used for rigging was replaced with new, _ “ diameter polyester rope. Functional rigging is used to suspend all curtains, three beams of lighting and any possible scenery.
Computer-video equipment with screen: Samsung Professional Series video projection system, VCR, DVD, and multi-audio video inputs accommodated. Large 35 by 22 foot movie\presentation screen. Internet access on stage or in the projection booth.

Back-stage Areas:

Dressing-bathrooms: Professionally designed men’s and women’s dressing rooms with adjoining bath rooms. Dressing room areas are spacious, well-lit with 40 running feet of counters, mirrors with rows of lights and sinks. Dressing rooms may also be used as practice or warm-up areas.

Back stage storage consists of two levels of secure 20’ x 20’, caged storage for equipment, scenery and props.

A large acoustically designed choir room (40’ x 40’) may be used as a practice or warm-up room.

A large 10’ wide by 18’ high overhead door separates the back stage area from the stage. Another overhead door (10’ x 11’) provides access to the back stage from the outside of the building.

Audio

Speakers: Eight  3’ JBL speakers and 2 woofers cable-suspended in speaker room above and center-stage.

Audio booth components:
Peavey SRC 6032 32 station professional mixing console.
JBL portable stage monitors.
Amplifiers: JBL MPX300 (4) and Peavey production amp (UMA75-T)
ON-OFF sequential rack
M552 Crossover
RTD Equalizer (4)
TEAC dual cassette recorder
Optimus cd recorder
Shure hand-held microphones…various types (12)
XLR mic cables…various lengths (10)

Upstage: Large flood lights…500 watts (16)
Midstage: 500 watt Fresnel's (12)
Downstage: 500 watt Fresnel's (12)
Catwalk: 500 watt Ellipsoidal (16)
Also…2 towers of sidelights (3 ea)

Audio-lighting booth: Minstrel Plus programmable stage light console with monitor working in
conjunction with back stage tower (Electronic Diversified, Inc.) with 1-80
dimmers (45-48 deleted)
Professional 1,000 watt spotlight located in room above audio booth.
A large assortment of various colored high-bulb intensity gels with frames
fit on any type of stage lighting fixture.
