Next Year's Class Schedules
Mailed with report cards wil be registration information, student schedule, and fees for next year. If you would like to avoid having to show up and wait in lines at regular registration at the end of July, please fill out the enclosed forms, write a check for the required fees, and return to the Student Services Center at the address indicated on the top of this letter. If you have questions or wish to schedule changes, please contact your child's counselor immediately (Mr. Buckley: 567-8040, Mrs. Mathews: 567-8039, Mr. Romero: 567-8038). Counselors will be working in the SSC during the two weeks after the school year ends and in the two weeks prior to beginning next school year.

Lunchtime Open Gym
We are looking into staff volunteers to open and supervise the gym next year. If this works out, we may look at adding more days of open gym each week. If you are interested in assisting our staff and volunteering your time from about 12:15 to 1:00 pm on Wednesdays, please let us know. You can call our office at 567-8035 and inform principal's secretary Karen Puig. She can make sure we take care of the necessary volunteer procedures through the District office.

The emergence of swine flu has raised national and state concerns. Unlike past headlines making infections the potential for swine flu to arrive in Arizona appears to be a reasonable probability.

Drug Counselor on Live Radio
A licensed substance abuse counselor hosts a live talk radio show out of Sedona on the first Monday of the month at 6:00 pm. Shawna Bowen is the author of the CD series "Parents!! PLEASE!! LOCK UP PRESCRIPTION DRUGS
There is evidence that the illegal use of prescription drugs by teens in on the rise. Prescription medications can be extremely dangerous when not used under the supervision of a Doctor. Please lock up all of your prescriptions and dispose of those you are no longer using. Let's do everything we can to keep our kids safe from dangerous drugs.
